Isle of Wight Day 1

What a fantastic day we've had and we're just waiting for them to go to sleep - we haven't quite made it to our intended aim of 21:00 and all asleep. The ferry was a great adventure for all the children as they were spotting as many different boats as they could.  After eating our lunch on the ferry, we made our way to the Dinosaur Isle for our journey to the beach. The weather was so warm that it felt like a summer's afternoon.  All the children found so many fossils, some of which should be making their way home with us.  After a delicious tea, we wrote postcards home, played a team game and enjoyed hot chocolate.
