Isle of Wight day 2

It is final room inspection tonight as we prepare to head off to our evening viewing at the cinema of "Christopher Robin".  You would probably not imagine amount of discussion that these hotly contested room inspections take.

Today was another sunny day which started with a short shopping trip at Alum Bay and then a boat trip to the Needles to see the lighthouse.

We then travelled to Carisbooke Castle where we had a picnic lunch, walked the wall ramparts and visited the chapel and museum. There was time for a number of team games on the large lawn - there was lots of energy to spend!

The staff surprised the children with a trip to Yarmouth Pier with an ice cream as well - it takes quite a lot of patience for the children to wait for all 38 children to pick their favourite ice cream flavour :)

Here are some photos from our boat trip today.  See you all tomorrow afternoon.
