Calshot Day 3

The new activity for today was Forest orienteering.  After a beautiful drive through Beaulieu, we arrived a picturesque wood in the New Forest.  Children split into small groups and, accompanied by an adult, a map and a compass, had to navigate through the forest to multiple checkpoints.  The children did very well with the maps and compasses as they were not helped by the adult.  A super session off site which allowed many children to show off their outstanding sense of direction and plant knowledge.
