Great time has been had by all...especially the birthday girl. When we got here, we found our rooms and unpacked our suitcases. Thank goodness everyone was still smiling after this (promise). At lunch the children met the other schools and were treated to jacket potatoes or rolls.
This afternoon we put on our wellies for the walk to the beach where the children created sculptures. We started off with a WHJS rainbow (ask your children for the details when they come home) and then created smaller group sculptures.
Tonight's highlight is going to be a night time walk to the hide to spot badgers, foxes or owls. We're holding thumbs for an impressive viewing.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
