Day two began with the happy celebration of Elin Young's birthday complete with birthday balloons and a song. The group have enjoyed a really busy day: building fire and making shelters, bushcraft designing and firing bottle rockets, orienteering around the site, learning to drive side by side buggies (hair raising for the poor passenger) and taking part mini Olympics.
The children have been eating their fair share of roasted potatoes, pasta and a mountainous salad bar to give them the energy to tackle all these exciting activities. Fruit for pudding no less - how healthy! All we need now is another good, settled night to rest up and be ready for another fun day.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
