Roald Dahl 100

On Friday, 23rd September, WHJS celebrated 100 years since Roald Dahl was born.  This week, the children picked which Roald Dahl book they would like to hear and they listened to this for 20 minutes at the end of each day. On Friday was dressing up day and the photos below show the staff's efforts. Many thanks for all the assistance from parents as the children looked great.  In lower school, the children created a conversation between two of the Dahl characters in the classroom.  They ended the day with a Dahl quiz - well done to those groups who scored top marks.
