Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment.
If you have any concerns regarding the safeguarding of any of our pupils please contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads: Mrs Rees, Mrs Dickens and Mrs Wallace
Please see the safeguarding section of our website under Parents > Safeguarding.
As we arrived thankfully the rain stopped. All the children have settled in well in their rooms and have made sure that they are neat and tidy.
After a tour around the site the children had lunch which gave them enough energy for the next activities. Lunch was delicious and there was a choice of wraps or fish fingers. There was a choice of pudding and fruit as well. They worked as teams to clear their tables and are starting to get to know the other schools.
The first afternoon activity was either Eggstreme Challenge, which tested their problem solving and team building skills, or Earthquake, which tested their resilience and courage with some impressive obstacles. Tonight is a talk by a professional wildlife photographer followed by our slot for visiting the badger hide. (Fingers crossed we will see some badgers.)
