Children in Need 2019

The School Council have worked really hard to make today a fun day full of activities.  We started the day with a presentation on the history of Children in Need followed by maths puzzles then each class took part in the Joe Wicks 'Big Morning Move'. At breaktime and lunchtime sports challenges were set up by the school council and volunteer play leaders.  These included the Trim Trail challenge, bouncing a tennis ball on a racquet for a minute, timed skipping, netball hoops and penalty shoot out.  Thank you to all the children who participated in the events it was great fun and thank you also for your donations which will now be sent to Children in Need.

Here are some photo's from the day.

Our chosen charity for this year was suggested by Honey. We will be raising money for Cystic Fibrosis.

In the last weeks of this Autumn Term we are going to do a Christmas bag shop to raise money for our chosen charity. We ask you to fill the bags with new or good condition nearly new gifts suitable for presents for family members.

For example:

Smells, Jewellery or Sunglasses.

Socks, Ties, Chocolates or games.

CDs, Games, Cloving, Toys, Pens or lego.

Books, Toys, Teddies or Marbles

The children will be able to purchase bags for £1.50 as Christmas presents for family members. How many bags children can buy will depend on how many children bring in bags.
