Our School Vision
Our children are the heart of our community. We strive to inspire and challenge every child in a nurturing environment so that they will all thrive and become resilient lifelong learners.
Our School Values
At Woolton Hill Junior School, our curriculum and ethos is supported by a set of learning values. These values have been carefully chosen by the whole school community and their aim is to determine our thinking and behaviour around being a successful learner. Through teaching, learning and upholding the learning values, we are developing a set of skills and attitudes which prepare our children for the modern day world and enable them to be confident, successful and responsible adults with a lifelong love of learning.
Each week we lead a special values assembly, where the children are asked to reflect on an aspect of a value within their own and other people's lives. Class teachers also explicitly teach the 'Value of the week' in their class assembly and following PSHE lessons. Wherever possible, our school learning values are taught in all areas of the curriculum. Most importantly, adults in the school ensure that they are role-models for each of the values.
